We carefully choose our Corporate Responsibility (CR) partners in our scope of Education, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, to make the greatest possible impact. It ranges from feedback on business plans and serving on competition juries to providing funding and expertise.

Our national partners

VLAJO/Les Jeunes Entreprises
VLAJO/Les Jeunes Entreprises enables students to develop entrepreneurial skills and prepare for working life through simulation exercises in which they experience how to run their own company. Deloitte provides feedback on business plans, serves on competition juries, advises the initiative’s management and offers a Deloitte Innovation Award.

19 Coding School
19 Coding School, is the first Belgian Coding School entirely free, open to all and accessible to 18-30 year olds. Its pedagogy is peer-to-peer learning: a participative process that allows students to unleash their creativity through project-based learning. Deloitte collaborates with 19 since 2018.

GoodPlanet Belgium is dedicated to building a sustainable society by developing and supporting sustainability projects. Based on the education sector, the nonprofit organisation also runs trainings on sustainable development and raising awareness for schools, the public, and private companies.

Bright Future
Bright Future is an initiative of Beface, an organisation started by Engie (formerly GDF Suez) and now supported by many large companies, including Deloitte Belgium. The project offers mentoring sessions to underprivileged, high-potential university students to help them with their first career steps.

Caring for Entrepreneurship Fund (CEF)
Caring for Entrepreneurship Fund (CEF) supports start-ups in the health and welfare sector that address unsatisfied medical needs. Founded in December 2008, CEF is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation. Deloitte provides support and expertise to selected projects.

Our international partners

Close the Gap Close the Gap, founded by Olivier Vanden Eynde, a director in Enterprise Risk Services, helps bridge the digital divide by offering high-quality refurbished computers to IT projects in emerging countries throughout the world. Deloitte provides support with equipment and expertise.

Fund Isaan
Fund Isaan, established by Deloitte partner Rony Wuytjens, is active in one of the poorest regions in Thailand, where education is often a low priority. It provides computers and training, sends volunteers to assist local teachers with English classes, and offers scholarships to young people who demonstrate high potential.

Qhubeka provides bicycles to students in rural Africa, giving them the tools to access education and to make their own path in life. Deloitte Global and Deloitte Belgium are proud to support the charity’s #BicyclesChangeLives campaign.

UNLEASH is a non-profit initiative aiming to address the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in 2015. Working with individuals, companies, NGOs, government agencies, investors, and foundations, the objective is to accelerate next-generation ideas. Deloitters from around the world, including Belgium, make an impact by facilitating UNLEASH workshops.

One Young World
One Young World gathers the brightest young leaders from around the world together, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change. Each year, they stage an annual summit where Deloitte participates globally, including Belgium.

In 2018, Deloitte was asked to support the rollout of a new concept called StreetSmart, which was designed by the hybrid social enterprise StreetwiZe – a talent development company that reinvests all of its generated profit into Mobile Schools.
